Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) in partnership with the Confédération Générale des Entreprises de Côte d'Ivoire (CGECI) will host the AGOA Private Sector Forum on August 4, 2019, in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. The Forum will provide a platform for U.S. and African companies to highlight their AGOA success stories and explore new business and investment opportunities.
Panels will examine lessons learned from exporters and importers across sectors with high growth potential for expanding U.S.-Africa trade and investment, including textiles and agribusiness. The Forum will conclude with a panel on the future of U.S. – Africa trade and investment, examine how African countries can best use the remaining six years of AGOA eligibility and discuss the potential impact of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) on U.S.-Africa trade and investment.
The Forum will also feature a session on doing business in Côte d'Ivoire and will highlight how companies can leverage AGOA access to support their commercial operations.
