The Government of Kenya's "big four" pillars are to achieve universal health, increase manufacturing, improve food security and increase affordable housing. As the largest economy in East Africa with an average annual growth rate of 5.7 percent, a regional finance and transportation hub, home to the Silicon Savannah, and a leading U.S. trade partner in Africa, this briefing will offer commercial policy updates on Kenya. The dialogue will also showcase market opportunities following bilateral Trade and Investment Working Group meetings, and ahead of IMF-World Bank Spring meetings. The delegation will include a high-level cadre of Cabinet Secretaries who will discuss policy updates, and promote Kenya's trade agenda. Additional members of the delegation include ministries of finance, health, agriculture, foreign affairs, and the export promotion council.
